Everything Paper!

I ordered the "large magnets" from Vista Print with 25% off discount, and lots of hesitation after the failed attempt with their business cards-sized magnets. However, when I received them in the mail they turned out GREAT!  I even chose a little dressier design and I absolutely love them and so does FI!  He said "wow, are those the thingys?" :)  I can't wait to send them out!

We sent out our STD's with christmas cards, so I made the cards using Vista Print (for free, may I add) and they were pretty simple with a little personal touch to it!

Test Invitations

Picture
Here is my first go at invitations.  This is printed on regular white computer paper and in black and white, so obviously this is the mock up :)  But I am happy with it so far!  I just need to get my printer in order to print out my first sample on cardstock... :)

My mom doesn't like the wording so I'll change that soon.

Okay, this is the invitation with the wording changed.  My mom really wanted both parents listed on the invitation, which was fine with me.  Next up, printing them!

Return Address Stamp

Picture
This falls under the "unnecessary purchases" category... lol!

I have my lil ity bitty RSVP envelopes and I decided I want to stamp my return address on them instead of worrying how the printer will put it on there.

I bought my stamp off of etsy seller JustWriteStamps (with the scroll design and all) for $27.50 + shipping.  Here is a pic of the design, its 2 X 2....   Update:  Just got it in the mail today!  I tested it out on both white paper and the metallic golf leaf envelope and I LOVE it! :)  I cant wait to use it on all of my envelopes :)  I'll post some pictures when I stamp all of them :)

Photoshare Cards

Picture
It started with other wonderful knotties posting the awesome specials available on Vista Print -- the most common being the 250 free business cards.  I really didn't want this to go to waste because it seems like a good deal (just pay $5.50 for shipping), so I really had to put my thinking cap on as how to utilize this offer wisely with the million options flying through my mind.  Finally -- I got it.  I remembered reading on another knottie's bio that she made the business cards to give out to her guests with directions on how to upload their photos they took at their wedding to a special site.  What a perfect idea!  As much as I wish it was true, not everyone is facebook savvy where they could upload their photos and "tag" us.  So Picasa has a feature where you can designate an email address to your Picasa photo album and anyone can email photos to it!  PERFECT!  I haven't figured out if i'll leave it at every place setting or include it with the wedding favors, maybe church programs?  We'll see!  Since they come with 250, I kept the card a little generic so that maybe my mom could use them to give out at the bridal shower too!

Picasa Directions:  In Picasa, go to Settings and scroll down to "Allow me to upload photos by email." Check this box, and a field will appear, prompting you to enter a secret word. I choose the word wedding. Picasa will populate a new email address that appends to your Gmail address. For instance, if your Gmail address is "[email protected]", your unique Picasa address would be "[email protected]." This is the address you give out to your family, instructing them to simply email their photos to this address. Once they start emailing, everyone's photos will appear in your Drop Box on your Picasa page, and from there, you can combine them all in one special album!

And of course I had to make another photoshare card with my lil Ollie on there...
